In addition to two group exhibitions,fALSEfAKES in 2013 and AGAINST THE GRAIN in 2014, OFFSHORE, a solo exhibition in 2008 presented the photographic work made by the artist Philippe Durand in 2007 in the Caribbean, in line with his artistic practice of representing through photography contemporary socioeconomic realities. For about twenty five years ago, his work testifies of his interest, on the one hand, in paradigmic photography, a photography that deals with photography itself and on the other hand in the discrepancy between the image that is magnified by advertising these signs and objects and the way they really work.
